This is a personal note from a Father in Law. My thanks go to you professionals out there seeking a solution to this terrible occurance affecting our law enforcement people. At times it may appear to be a thankless job and not appreciated by most but in reality is not true because the majority of us recognize that without these professionals on the streets and highways, this country would be in utter termoil. We/I lost Aaron Jon Gilliland in April 09 and he will be missed more than I can express. He was a dedicated, courteous, honest, brave, and considerate officer who really knew the book and carried out his job with conviction. He was a recipient of the Medal of Valor bestowed on him by Govenor Gray Davis and rightfully placed on the roles of those Officers who have gone above and beyond duty to help those in need. In case some one has not told you today, thanks to all of you law enforcement officers for all that you do.
